The Association

Velkuan saaristolaisyhdistys ("Velkua islanders association") is a local group in Velkua, Naantali. Activities started in 1996 and the association was registered in 2002. Members include all year inhabitants as well as recreational residents.

The association works for an improved neighborhood. It organizes events and youth activities. Increasing cooperation between residents, other local associations, businesses and the town is one of the main goals.
